The GUI is pretty good and the feature-set greater than similar freebies out there. I tried Windows Movie Maker 6 (didn't work on this Win7x64, but has on others) and WinDV (downsampled audio to 32 KHz for me). This one did what i wanted perfectly with my JVC DV-AVI.
Some of the features are pretty self-explanatory once you read the very good help file. I was a bit confused at first, but after about 30mins of playing about it all came up good.
You can export the settings which is fantastic, because on my PC it cleared the settings each time i loaded it.
Bloody great tool. Thank you to the author for making it free for personal use. |
