"You probably don't have AviSynth, MKV Splitter, or AVC Decoder installed"

Installed all 3 Tools.
Installed H.264 Codecs/Converter, Codec-Packs, 32-bit, 64-bit; copied the executables in the mkv2avi-folder - just in case the program are not aware of app-paths.

Copied the mkv-file into c:\temp (to avoid any long pathnames or empty spaces...)

It looks promising but it just doesnt work at all.

Who would program a software like that? Untested and not-working made public?

The GUI is great, but it wont work at all.

it has a great GUI, how ever it should include tips or any reasonable option to speed up the process. i have a fast computer and with CBR activated is taking too much time to covert a 4.36 GB movie.. i have used Pazera_Free_MKV_to_AVI_Converter 1.0 and works great and very fast.. used a bitrate of 3,000 kbps and only single pass, and always use same dimensions/fps and the avi looks great..for those who likes speed and good results.. try pazera one.. and for those which are getting the missing codec avc, avisynth .etc . i made it work by installing http://www.videohelp.com/download/Avisynth_258.exe , http://www.videohelp.com/download/mkvtoolnix-unicode-6.4.1-setup.exe and maybe optional: http://www.free-codecs.com/x264_VfW_download.htm

i will specify my own bitrate..like 3,000 and see how it works.. i was testing this tool with same bitrate as original with the convertion...

Regards

I installed K-Lite Media Codecs pack just before trying this software, which includes the tools you mentioned, so it worked fine for me.

I had this "You probably don't have AviSynth, MKV Splitter, or AVC Decoder installed." too.
But uses only English letters and digits in the filenames and all directories may be helpfull to you too.

I've installed all the add on's, but I'm still getting the error message,
"You probably don't have AviSynth, MKV Splitter, or AVC Decoder installed."
All three have been installed twice, but it still doesn't work.
