I'm using ver. 18.5 Ultra. Can't recall where I got it from, but in this case it probably wasn't VH. It looks and functions pretty similar to the Media Human YT Downloader, another very good one in this category. Thus far, it has not asked me for further payment. I'd like to find a list of any sites besides YT that it covers, but apparently that is going to be a rather short list. (Some of the others in category can cover many more sites.) I'm aware that the current version is 20.x, but I haven't yet run into any compelling reason to go for the later version. Other downloaders that I use
have been forced to change / update, as YT periodically zigged and zagged in various ways to thwart them. Some of the downloader programs are or must be updated with some regularity, in order to remain viable. Probably just a matter of time before that occurs with this one as well. |
