Me again, wanting to clear the good name of the program's coder. The reason the interface didn't display properly was my fault. I had Windows' DPI Setting at Large (120 DPI) instead of Normal (96 DPI) under Display Properties - Settings - Advanced - General. Wanted to help anyone else who might make the same mistake.

At the moment, this tool seems to be the answer to my quest for an ffmpeg gui that actually produces quality output and allows you to keep the subs and the multiple audio streams.

I had to give a 9 for ease of use, because the functions of some parts of the interface are not as clear as they could be. I'm not a complete noob, and I read all the pertinent literature, but I'm still kind-of guessing when I click one or two checkboxes or leave the defaults.

The other, main, reason I haven't quite gotten comfortable with the interface is because I can't use it on my home desktop; the middle section (containing the "add files" control, etc.), is absent when I run the program on my main system. I tried it out on another system and the whole interface displayed, which is why I know the output quality is excellent.

My gratitude to the author, and I hope the display problem will be fixed soon. I can't wait to use the program.

Not bad at all for an Mpeg2 encoding and basic DVD authoring solution. The ffmpeg.exe engine was only encoding with 1 thread, perhaps this will be addressed in a later version. Nonetheless, encoding was pretty fast.
