  1. Hi I have a number of what i believe to be ASF video files that i want to put onto DVD. I have been trying to do this with nero 6 but some of these videoes stop half way through the encoding process. The videoe's were produced by recording streaming video with WM Recorder 10.2 which is why i am lead to believe that they are ASF files even though they have a WMV extension. These clips play perfectlly on windows media player without any problem but will not complete the encoding process to burn to DVD. I have also tried converting them to other formats with winAVI and the same thing happens they get half way through the conversion and stops running, and i am left with only half the clip on the converted file. I have even tried to repair these problem files with ASF-AVI Repair with no succes. can anyone please help me burn these clips to DVD im at the end of my teather.
