Burned 4x maximum, burner (LG GH22NP20) stopped reading media after burning. Older NEC ND-2100AD drive can read media, but not burn. After about 20 disks, of which 12 were coasters, the media would not burn at any speed. Switched to Memorex (CMC MAG-M01) which was somewhat better. Finally found some Verbatim disks and all was well. What a waist of time and money on this garbage!

Has been very reliable for the last 50+ burns. Previous few coasters may (probably) have been caused by OS problems. Have been using extremely reliable Optiarc AD-7170A DL IDE DVD writer with Dee's AD-7170A 1.O3 Modified RPC1 Firmware.

my drive would only burn these discs at 2.4x though it can write other media like maxell at 8x so beware
