I used the procedure for DVD HR-753 and it worked fine!! - Turn on player (without a DVD within) - Press "Repeat"(not "Repeat A-B"), "5", "7", "5", "3", "8" - "2" appears on the TV - Press "9" for Region-Free - "9" appears on the TV German: - Gerät anschalten - Nacheinander "Repeat"(nicht "Repeat A-B"), "5", "7", "5", "3", "8" drücken - "2" erscheint auf dem TV - Drücke "9" für Region-Free - "9" erscheint auf dem TV Have fun PS. My player is bought in Denmark. | |||

1. Power on the player with no disc in the tray 2. Press the ‘DVD’ button 3. Press the number ‘0’ five times 4. Press the ‘Repeat’ button (NOT ‘Repeat A-B’) 5. Enter the numbers 5 7 5 3 8 quickly The current region code should be displayed in the upper left corner 6. Press the number ‘9’ for region free (multi-region) 7. Open the tray and close it again Use this on it works | |||

Hi I bought Samsung HR-757 in Sweden. Some posts suggested to use five zeros, but this did not work for me, so the following region free-ing procdure worked (from the remote): 1) power on the unit 2) press REPEAT (HR757 has no REPEAT A-B!) 3) press quickly 5, 7, 5, 3, 8 4) current region code (2 for me) will appear on left top corner of the screen 5) quickly press 9 (all regions) which will show up in the same place of the screen 6) quickly open and close tray (without this step a new region code is not stored) You can check if code is changed by repeating 1-4) steps.
