Burning DVD audio problem

I have had no problem with some of the files I have downloaded until recently. I have them all in video_ts but it seems that at least one of the files is default in a different language. I noticed that the downloads with multiple languages are the ones it happens to... obviously.

When watching in VLC all I have to do is go to audio and click on all the tracks until I get english.. but when I burn, it doesnt make that particular video_ts file default to english. How can I change this? I dont see how unless I was able to open the IFO file associated with it and change the code.

What is it that people are doing wrong when they rip dvd's for this to happen? It wasn't a problem until recently.

Any help would be great so I don't have to waste anymore DVD's

You would not have this problem if you bought the DVDs instead of downloading them. Downloaded DVDs are generally ripped by nuffies who have little idea what they are doing, and the results are usually disappointing.

If you want to try to fix the problem you could start with PGCEdit, however I suspect that if the language is changing mid film you have a issue with the stream order that an IFO change may not fix.

It's only on a few and these people usually give out great stuff. TO buy them is pointless for me, why would I bother to burn them if I've bough them? I'm broke for one, thus why I download.

It's not that it changes mid film, its only one of the video_ts files. I know there has to be a way for it to be changed from trak 1 to track 2 as default
