I recently created my own guide for converting an MKV to MP4 passthrough which used MKVextract and MP4Box. That process took close to 5 minutes per file, depending on the file size. At the time it seemed like it was my only option, but mkv/avi to mp4 does it all in a matter of minutes. I converted 52 MKV files (22 - 23 min long) in a little over 1 hour. All files work on my computer, PS3 and iphone 4. Great tool! |
