This version of vlc m.p. is better than ANY media player I have ever used. I am very reluctant to even upgrade because of possible negative changes that may occur.I cannot fathom anyone complaining at all about this product. The interface is very simple and can be modified to fit per user tasks. It records, takes snapshots, and covers most,(I can't say all because I need only use a few different formats)video formats, is FREE!, with FREE! upgrades, and you can actually adjust audio and video flaws in lower quality videos, and add various video effects, and record the finished product. What more could anyone ask for out of a media player,with cost OR free? While some people are spending all their viewing time worrying about "per-snickety" B.S., I am watching SUPERB quality videos the way I like to view them.
