Despite much bashing over in the editing forum I love this program.
It's an absolute ease to use and the transitions and menu's are superb.
It produces stunning results and combined with it's simplistic interface is perfect for the new user/novice/people who don't want to take an age learning a new program just to a get a fraction better results.
One problem I had was using it to capture analogue footage. My source wasn't exactly reliable and as a result I suffered massive frame loss. I fixed this by using Virtualdub.
I haven't truly used the full capabilities of this program as I don't use it for encoding, I love TMPGEnc so encode with that.
