With so many bad postings about Studio 8 its a wonder that so many people still/try to use it. The facts are that its one of the easiest all in one entry level video editing packages going and in the UK more and more PC manufacturers are bundling it with new PC's resulting in a high % of users.
Myself like so many have a love/hate relationship with Studio8 and why do we keep giving it another go..... because its pleasing and easy to use.
My main problems were hangups during editing and producing DVD coasters when burning. With a upgrade to 1 gig of RAM and a update of the latest S8 software things have dramatically improved IE editing is faster and smother, no hang ups or frozen screens and no DVD +R coasters now that I burn all projects to +RW and then copy this using Nero 5.5 to +R. (Studio8 will not burn +R DVD's on my and so many other peoples systems).
Just maybe Pinnacle will sort it out one day! |
