QT Pro Player and iMovie also capture but they stop the capture when a video signal is absent (such as between clips on a VHS tape). BabyaTV doesn't abort the capture. You get to pause or stop as you wish. You also get to choose the source for the video and audio (ie, your iSight and internal microphone or DV-Camcorder, etc.).
This app has been a great help. I've got 40+ VHS tapes with family videos stretching back over 20 years and the fact that I can set it to capture and not worry about it stopping until -I- stop it is great.
I have found that I do need to quit and relaunch the app should I want to create a new capture session. I may be doing things wrong but I'm not complaining. |
