I have been using studio7 for sometime now to make svcd's of my home movies from my panasonic dv camcorder.As a novice i find this software simple and easy to use. I recently bought a plextor 708 dvd re-writer (It's the best) studio 8se was included in the package. I captured 64minutes of dv, did a little bit of editing added transitions and chapter points.In studio 8 there is a function to make the disc after rendering instead of using nero. the end result was a very good quality home movie with dvd quality.
i did try to use nero to burn my movie but it could not handle the the fact it was bigger than 2gigs.
although pinnacle took over five hors to render and another 45 minutes to make the disc it makes the movie for me.
i think you need a decent spec computer for this software, but as i said i am only a novice in the movie world and it does fo me |
