I started back when studio 8 was out. It had a bug when adding text but you could drag the error box out of the way and keep working, Now I use Studio 9 with all the online updates. It works flawlessly. I have 2 gigs of ram, so don't try to edit video with a slow weak computer. I have used studio for years and most of the probs I have had I traced to a prob with computer settings. Hang ups in rendering is a corrupt frame or frames in your video, which can happen without dropping frames. Just because you have zero dropped frames doesn't mean you don't have some corrupt frames in there. If you hang up in rendering, stop and go to the edit window. Stretch out the time line to max, look at the audio for gaps where the audio breaks. Thats your clue for corruption. Cut these little sections out. Your video will jump slightly at the clipped point on the disc but it will play. |
