I got the Studio 9 Quick Start with a Dazzle product and used it under Windows 98 Second Edition. I upgraded to the Plus version and used that under Windows 98 Second Edition, then Windows 200 Professional, then Windows XP Professional. Now I have upgraded again to Studio Plus 10.5, still running on Windows XP Professional. There was a time along the way when I found the program sluggish, but adding RAM fixed that. There have been times when I would encounter freezes, but it was always when some other competing application was on my system -- Studio doesn't play well with others. Ever since I have just let Studio have the system all to itself, it has been an excellent tool for me. Nowadays, I have a box with a 200GB hard drive permanently installed for data, and the system drive(s) live in caddies that I swap out in a drive tray. I have a system drive just for Studio, and swapping it for another system drive packed with other applications takes less than a minute. It's very easy to go into video production mode, and just as easy to get out of that and into other things. Anyway, it works for me.
Cheers
