Excellent excellent tool. I do a lot of video editing on Mac and I must say this gem of a tool really impressed me.
MVW DVD is the best tool for removing commercials from TV captures ( eg. from Comcast DVR ) and quick authoring a DVD. Its lightning fast in editing mpeg2 directly. No reencodes means 2-3mins for removing commercials.
Authoring DVD is very trivial and works very well.
Cons -
* expensive. Price should be made around $50-$75
* DVD authoring is limited. Cannot add video menus, only static background.
* burn speed got limited to 1x. This is fixed by burning externally with Nero at 8x.
Overall, a must buy if you need to remove commercials quickly and easily and make the dvd in the fastest possible time. |
