Have used all versions of DVDShrink and all have worked great. I like to do "movie only" backups to keep maximum quality. I have a projection, HD, system for viewing and have perfect pictures projecting 8' images through a Pioneer DV-C36 progressive scan DVD player.
Reading other comments, it appears to me the problems come from the user trying to do more than you can reasonably expect, i.e., backup the entire 3 hour movie keeping everything on the disk and expecting flawless results. Not gonna happen!!
When you find a single layer disk and do the entire disk, perfect!!! This tool and DVDdecrypter are amazing tools and we should all form a line just to get the opportunity to say Thank You and shake their hand!!! and it wouldn't be out of line to have a little something in your hand at the time to show your appreciation. Hope everyone enjoys these as much as I do.
