I have used DVD FAb Decrypter to copy a disk which was uncopyable by DVD Shrink. Theis old, unencrypted disk had a chip on the very outer edge, and DVD Shrink would stop when it got to the last part of the credits rolling and give me a "cyclic redundancy error" every time. DVD Fab Decrypter just stopped copying when it got to the error and said, "OK, I guess I'm done." (It didn't really say that, I just made that up.) Apparently DVD Fab Decrypter has the ability to do what set top DVD players do when they find errors - skip over them and ignore them. Most copy programs can't do this. |
