I give it a 9 overall because I had to force quit at the end. One second left and 100% complete and it would have run forever. Otherwise an awesome piece of software. "Heavily multi-threaded" is an understatement. I have a 1.25GHz eMac with 256mb 333ddr and it ripped at 27fps from an firewire Pioneer107D. Almost real-time. The settings are simple and easy. The mp4 was immediately accepted on the Mac as a Quicktime movie and played on my "other" computer(a 1.1 GHz eMachine) in VLC. |
