This thing is great! No more simple every 5 sec cross-dissolves for my slide shows!
I just finished slide shows for my wedding DVD and I can't believe the results. Does a great "Ken Burns" effect. The audio implementation is pretty cool but you better read the users' guide on their site to really understand what you're trying to do. Once you set up the audio tracks with the appropriate transitions (mix, fade in, fade out, etc) you can modify the slides without worrying about the audio anymore (assuming the audio tracks are long enough to handle your changes ;-) )
Note that it won't do MPEG directly so you have to use XviD first and then re-render to MPEG with TMPGEnc - as the author recommends. Honestly, using 2-pass with TMPGEnc I can't tell the difference - certainly you never will on a DVD! |
