Remember the days when setup exe. file installers were beautifully written to be small? Why is it when things advance they get massively bigger like this software, but I blame Windows just as much. Small is beautiful e.g use any FFMEG GUI with a reasonably sized FFMEG build, not this bloatware which to be fair is still better than many of the proggies made for dummies e.g Crapbrake. Overcomplicated, unnecessary size, but I suppose you could go the Linux version and lose out. Staxrip I believe is another which has gone a big size when that used to be 10mb or so. Enough of my rants. I thought TMPGenc installer was a bad size!😉 |
