To start with the tool is easy to use, at least when it doesn't crash or cause a complete system crash.
The downsides to this is that the tool requires a system driver, and is the first of its kind that does and that driver conflicts with a range of things that have to be frequently updated.
A known issue that has been on-going for awhile now is that blu-ray discs that have been ripped using xreveal and burnt to disc do not work in a range of players due to some certification issue. This only happens when you remove region codes.
The developer has shown no interest in fixing this because apparently "it works for me".
So just be aware if your using this for backups and intend to play back in a nice Panasonic player - you will have problems.
Also something that everyone should be aware of, and I'm not sure how well known it is - This is AnyDVD developer. Built on a lot of anydvd's code (at least it was obvious before they started obfuscating that to cover it up).
This is not the first time they did a company rename to extract new licensing costs from people that had prior licenses. It did not go down very well last time they pulled this stunt, so this time they set up an entirely new company with a new product.
