My previous review comments stand. Contrary to the info listed here, and apparently contrary to the official changelog (which did not mention it, the last time I checked), there is a 5.1 Build 44 (circa 2024), and I just updated my licensed copy to it. In the past, I was able to obtain a later build from the company itself, but in more recent years there was no response to my request. So I obtained a "bootleg" copy from Sanet.st, then ran the installer file through UniExtract, to get the Machete.Exe. I strongly suggest that you ignore the cracked (separate) Exe file in their archive, as it drives VirusTotal bonkers ! However, if you extract the Machete.Exe from the installer MSI file, that merits scarcely a peep from the VT multi-AV scanner report. I then had to reapply my existing license, and I'm back in business with the 3-years-later update build. |
