Well, since I expect/hope that alternative builds of MKVtoolnix WILL NOT BE provided by Mosu himself,
who seems to be the only one who cannot live without Qt...
well, you get the idea ;-)
A graphical user interface specific for Windows 7 and 8.1 could be written in a DotNet language, or even in Java, why not? MKVtoolnix is just a GUI for mkvmerge, mkvinfo, mkvpropedit and mkvextract, and a GUI can be written and compiled with better languages or/and tools, it doesn't have to give a "raison d'être" to Qt :-) |
