The latest 5.3.1.1 keeps changing the audio sample rate to 44.1Khz for video audio. Setting 48KHz and it still insists on re-sampling it from 48 to 44.1Khz. Video does not use 44.1KHz, I have never seen that used anywhere but maybe I don't get out enough or something.
Xvid encoding speed isn't all that fast TBH and I tried both Xvid and Xvid(Core). I can get considerably faster encoding speeds using VirtualDubMod (XVid codec)using an Avisynth script.
The installer fails because it insists on downloading files and if there is a firewall which prevents it from accessing the net then the install fails and hangs. No retry so that a firewall rule can be created.
This definitely needs some work. |
