It's the greatest/easiest authoring software, the only big problem is that has no support for multiple languages and or subtitles.
I use it to encode my own DVDs from the DVD recorder, I like a lot the freedom that it gives me to design menus. I like that doesn't reencode the files, I like that it warns me that "it might make an out of standard DVD" and still goes ahead and does it. This is very important when the source had more than 10 MB/s, or the end result was a DVD with more than 4.4 GB. In the later case I shrinked the DVD I created with DVD-Shrink.
Of course the biggest plus is that you can use sources of different qualities. But you already knew that. |
