The tool has an excellent interface, it is clear, well documented, and seems frequently updated.
However, none of the portable version of this work, because they keep looking for the settings file in an non existing %APPDATA%Roaming location instead of looking in its own installation directory. Besides defeating the purpose of a portable version, it makes the application crash before even attempting any kind of encoding operation.
Looking at the forum, a similar error has been reported in the past, but apparently has never been fixed.
Such a glaring error makes it look that the application has never been tested, and taken together with some other illogical issues (for instance, when setting manually a 'relative' output path, dot characters are not allowed. In a relative pathname?) makes one very skeptical about its overall quality and wary of other possible huge mistakes.
I would recommend looking into this again in the future, but I would not recommend its use right now.
