I use CloneDVD with DVDShrink 3.1.x I use shrink to, well Shrink (if necessary) the menu, the main movie, and the extras that I want (it requires a little bit of calculation). Then I use CloneDVD to get a DVD with just what I want. I prefer this method because I have found DVDShrink's compression far superior to Clone's. Once you get the hang of it, it is easy to get backups that start up at the main menu.
Maybe V2 will have good enough compression so that I can dispense with this (although Shrink removes the change layer command and decrypts). We shall see. |
