VLC Player is my second favorite Movie Player (first one is MPC-BE Player because of LAV-Filters, MadVR, etc.). I love this program, because you can find it on different operating systems (Windows, Android, etc.) and there are some special features of the program, I sometimes need and use. The design of the player is old, but okay. You can play video files from harddisk, from internet and it is DLNA compatible. So you can stream your movies with univeral media server (UMS) to TV or other devices with VLC player. That is great. Futhermore it is possible to capture streams from the internet. With this software you can convert video files, with a few settings. VLC Player is an allround talent for video and audio files and it is a perfect portable app for your usb stick. |
