Nero Recode produces great quality backups with very little hassle. I used to use CloneCD but Nero Recode is so much more reliable. Making backups is easy and no longer a chore. If you need to make backups you NEED to get this.
1. DVDDecrypter - a free tool to copy movies from DVD to your harddrive. (also removes the copy protection)
2. Nero Recode - for best results choose only the movie and sound track. (remember to check www.ahead.de for the latest patch)
3. Decent quality blank DVDs - a step which far too many skip when first making backups. Follow the three simple rules when buying blanks: 1) The darker purple the dye the better the burn 2) Cheap blanks ain't good and good blanks ain't (usually) cheap 3) When in doubt, buy Ritek G04.
4. Nero Burning ROM 6 - the program you buy to get Nero Recode. Use it to burn the backups you've created using Recode.
5. Never burn a coaster again - unless you want to ;) |
