I currently own ver 2.55 which I was happy with except for two issues. Rendering times are very slow when compared to Studio 8 or VideoStudio 7 and you are limited to the size of DVD you can burn (around 1hr). So I decided to see if ver 3.0 was any better and downloaded the trial version. The interface is great and very easy to use especially now that they have included a timeline (it actually has a Studio 8 feel to it). However rendering times are still horribly slow and it seems to make no difference whether you use SVRT or not. Also the titling tool is a bit limited, e.g. if you want to change the colour of certain letters within a title you can't, changes are applied to the entire title. I couldn't try the burning option as this is not included in the trial. I would say that if you have time to wait for this program to render your movie then go for it. |
