Theoretically, the player has everything to be at the forefront. It is available under windows and linux, open source, has been stable developed for over 2 decades.
But then you still have to fight for the very average out-of-the-box usability. Folder show & play and full functional mouse usage is only to get by installing addons. But honestly lots of the addons are not more working from the internal addon store, so you have to goole for workarounds....sure i know long development.
So i don't understand why developers don't even focus on good usability. (good hint: potplayer)
This player and its team deserves a 10/10 rating. But i gave 8.
