Okay converter, but the audio output is abysmal and full of artifacting whatever bitrate used. Video output is good at its best quality slowest settings. It's easy to users so will appeal to who want a quick fix, but not to an advanced user who likes to tweak settings. You can merge vobs from dvds but the encoded dvd is not seamless and will show the merging as a slight jump in the film, and the aspect gets messed up too. Personally you can do much better than this overrated software as in the very popular Handbrake. |
