I am using it for recording TV. It is invaluable to direct download whole stream containing all programs (video, audio, subtitles and everything is transmitted) and do not change it. So you can save whole multiplex. It has its disadvantage because you need lots of space to save it. 3xHD AVC + 2xSD mpeg + 2 radio station. 4 hours is +/- 30GB DVB-T. It vary from 2-4 MB/s because that multiplex is containing sport channel (higher bitrate + 2 track of audio 448kbps and 192 kbps).
I have not found any other free software that is able to do this.
