Excellent software! I had a H265 in a mkv container which I had to convert to h264, a file which latest version of Handbrake wouldn't read; I tried loads of other commercial trial/shareware progs like Wonderfox, Wondershare, Xilisoft etc and they all messed up the cropping/aspect ratio, but this free SSC had no problems solving it. Using the 'best fit' option it got the aspect ratio exact. You can edit a small video segment to test encode your project before you encode the whole video rather than waste hours and annoyingly find you have to change the parameters again. The video output was flawless from the original using slowest settings. Im looking forward to its update. Super software! |
