The "portable" versions are not truly portable because the settings are stored in the AppDataRoamingvlc folder and not in the unzipped app folder.
You can install different versions of VLC but they all use the same settings.
Bug in the 2.2.4 and 2.2.5 64 bits versions.
The snapshots are incorrectly named vlcsnap-errorXXX i/o vlcsnap-yyyy-mm-dd-hhmmssms
