Neat, now you can capture directly to .wmv or MPEG4. No problems installing like so many others seem to have with Catalyst/MMC. I have found out the best way to "upgrade" Catalyst/MMC is to do a fresh install of OS, update with patches etc.. and then use Ghost or Drivecopy to save your pristine image. Then, install the Catalyst driver and then MMC and all will be OK. Then, install your video apps and you will be good to go. Next time ATi releases new Catalyst/MMC restore that pristine image and then install Catalyst/MMC etc...Watch what happens if you try and simply un-install Catalyst/MMC - after reboot it finds all the stuff you just uninstalled! Then you got 2 different versions of files out there - no wonder there is trouble. |
