  1. ...get a better burner !

i was going crazy because my LG player would skip on my DVD's which i burned with a Samsung TS-H542, yesterday i got a NEC 3520, mainly because i wanted to use the DVD+R to DVD-ROM booktype.

as a test i made another DVD-R the same way i did with the old samsung, same media, same speed.... no skipping !

    thanks NEC.

Sometimes its the media that makes a difference with the burner, one burner will love ritek for example but another make of dvd burner will burn coasters with it.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

  3. johns0 is correct that 'good' discs will be 'bad' discs on another burner. The great thing about NEC burners is just about anything you put in them burns well, including alot of generic media that my other burners will refuse to even burn. NECs are very tolerant of different types of media.
