| Purchased this recorder last year from local BEST BUY store with rebate offer. Have this connected to my MPC ClientPro345 Desktop Workstation and so far, it has performed very well. Have burned a number of CD's and DVD's using the NERO software it comes with as well as with DVD Shrink. No problems with CD's. Had some burn failures with compressed DVDs using DVD Shrink, but think that may be due to the TDK 8X DVD+R discs which are more problematic than the TDK 4X DVD+R. No failures so far burning on TDK 4X DVD+RW discs. Have not yet tried dual-layer DVD copying with this recorder but just purchased blank discs so should know sometime in the near future.
