This Home Theater System has an odd software format from Panasonic. They may not have been aware of it when the machine was made. Many of them already play region 0/1(North America;US & Canada) and 2 (UK). If you are seeking to add PAL to your list of Hacks you need to follow this advice. If your player was purchased in the UK, you need to obtain a DVD Hack remote. If you purchased it in the united states or Canada, there is a chip that needs to be purchased and soldered to the board. It is not recommended to purchase the chip because it requires precise soldering techniques at specific temperatures or you can burn or fry your whole system. The cost of the chip is also the same as buying a cheap ALL REGION DVD player. The beautiful part of the Home Theater system is it's auxilary input. Just plug in an ALL REGION player and it works beautifully. Chances are most of the discs you get will be within your region and can play on the home theater, and your ALL REGION won't get much use. That's how it is in 90% of the cases. | |||
