	Open the player's tray, put in a Region One disc but do not close tray,Press the 0,1,2 and 3 buttons on the remote control followed by the play button. This closes the tray and disc begins to play.

	no hack required, player is multi regional out of the box as was the 2004, but mine has macrovision present.
