Simple, easy to work with, very useful and fast. Works with Windows 95 - XP.

Almost useless nowadays with dgindex and pgcdemux, But still GREAT for demuxing mpeg files.

The only tool I know for splitting program streams by cells. This operation is very useful for getting rid of garbage material (defacement with ratings and warnings, logos) if it has been encoded separately from the main video. Sometimes MPEG streams contain cells, which confuse demultiplexers by indicating that non-existant audio and video streams are present. VobEdit can get rid of them too in most cases. It has been reported that hiding the progress bar behind the screen speeds up processing. I tend to agree.

Great utility for editing out all the forced crap (like copyright, logos and other advertising) especially from the start of dvd's, menus etc. Even stuff that normal dvd backup utilities can't see. Also has preview mode so you can see exactly what you are blanking so you know exactly what to delete. Very usefull and easy to use utility, Well worth the download.
