TitleSet Blanker

NEW VERSION 0.9.5

NO LONGER DEVELOPED
With TitleSet Blanker you can blank-out TitleSets of a DVD. This can help to remove copyright messages, trailers and other ugly stuff. It can also help to shrink your DVD to DVD± size. The DVD generally plays, as if the TitleSet wouldn't exist.

excellent program for trimming dvds. i use it to get rid of the fbi disclaimer and previews that delay the main menu of the dvd. now when i play dvds, they goes straight to the menu. i use ifoedit to identify the titlesets' contents.

Great Tool. For anyone who is sick of all the previews on a dvd.
Rip with dvd shrink select portion to remove and click with titleset blanker. Removed 15+ minutes of intro garbage from my backup and still left the menus fully funtional. A must for anyone making backups.

I just wanted to report that this tool does exactly what it was meant to do - it does not remove the actual titleset, but empties it of all its contents - resulting in a titleset of about 10kb. When DVD is played back, it appears as if the titleset does not exist.

Ease of use, for me, is a little difficult. I use DVDShrink 2.3 in raw data view mode to identify what titleset I want to blank. If you are versed in IFOEdit, you will have no problems whatsoever. Over a short amount of time, it becomes extremely easy. A big plus is that you can return to the original titlesets after you have blanked them if they do not play the way you wanted using your computer DVD player.

Use this in conjunction with DVDShrink and MenuEdit, and all the people who want the main menu with the original menus have got what they want.
