Amazing application! I have done a lot of DV video capture with various editing programs (Vegas, Sonic DVD, Windows Movie Maker) and they all have rather slow and clunky interfaces and most would not work with my camcorder in AV->DV bridge mode. This little app is the perfect solution if you need to quickly capture an entire DV AVI segment and has the option to capture in DV AVI type 2! Most of the other apps will only capture in the inferior type DV AVI. As mentioned before, it does not take a lot of resources, so you can still use your computer for most tasks (not things that will hit CPU 100%) and not drop any frames!
