I have always been a fan of Ffdshow until now. I discovered through chance that all my Tmpgenc Xvid to Mpeg conversion errors e.g freezing, crashing etc while converting where being caused by this evil thing. I uninstalled it and used the proper Xvid/DivX codecs instead and magically my Tmpgenc conversions became error free. Don't use this if you convert Xvid/DivX to Mpeg using TMPGenc - you'll be pulling your hair out if you do. |
