This is a nifty program, with powerful features, that produces high quality output. A serious limitation, for me at any rate, is that it does not support output files larger than 2GB. This means that, if you have a large slide show, you cannot use a DV or lossless codec like Huffy to output, but have to use DivX or Xvid, etc., which is OK if that's your final step, but not if you want to convert to MPEG 2, for example. Another annoyance is that there are very many transition options, but no easy way to weed out those you don't like. But the main limitation is the 2 gig limit. |
