I've been using VideoReDo for years. Unfortunately the time came that I had to look for an alternative.
I mostly want a splitter capable to do frame accurate splitting of mkv files.
That was what I was using VideoReDo for.
Very satisfied with the results and it is capable to keep (and split) all the embedded subtitle tracks.
It can even detect my external srt files and split these too!
Honestly I am very satisfied with SolveigMM and it fits my needs even better than VideoReDo did.
It took me some time to get used with it because it works differently than VideoReDo, but I am used to it now and I really like it.
No free alternative could replace VideoReDo for me, even if they try to do frame accurate splitting, they try to do it with ffmpeg and ffmpeg was never designed for this.
Very satisfied with SolveigMM.
