I converted a problematic ntsc DVD which has combing in some frames after several failed ivtc operation using other encoding programs in Win10, so decided to give this a go. All I did after a short sample to confirm it would work okay(software allows you some control during editing as well as cropping of black bars etc!) was change the framerate to 23.976fps and left its deinterlace on auto. The H264 file came out correctly progressively and combed parts now gone. Very pleased with the result, considering it's freeware, but based on the super FFMEG! |
