Detected as malware by Malwarebytes. Detection confirmed at VirusTotal for both 2024 installation file (MKVCleaver_x64_v0801.exe) and 2022 executable (mkvcleaver.EXE). Didn't bother checking the 2024 executable since I would have had to run the malware in the installer. Too bad, as I've been using this since the previous version came out in 2022. I confess that I probably ignored the warnings, but with the 2024 version I will stop using mkvcleaner altogether, if I can. Searching for alternatives. Details at VirusTotal:
